The Small Batch 375 is the third bottling, launched in March 2019, of a series that began in July 2017 with the Small Batch 128. For the creation of Batch 375, small 100-liter ex-Bourbon casks were used, along with a small proportion of ex-hogshead Oloroso Sherry casks. As always, the numerical number indicates the storage location. Here, it refers to Warehouse #3, 75th row.
Nose: The sweetness of sherry blends with aromas of heather honey and apple blossom.
Palate: Initially soft and creamy, then bourbon notes begin to emerge. Oak and vanillin are present throughout, and as the woody flavors fade, autumn fruits take over: dried apple, gooseberries, and maple syrup are all there.
Finish: Persistent, with honey tones lingering until the very end.
