Over 150 years ago, John & William Hardie decided to create the perfect Scotch Whisky. They selected only the finest and rarest malt whiskies and created "The Antiquary," a name inspired by a famous novel by Sir Walter Scott.
"The Antiquary" is perfectly balanced with a light, fresh character.
"The Antiquary 12 Year Old" contains the finest malt and grain whiskies. With aromas of smoke and fresh lemon, it is smooth with a pleasant peaty taste. "The Antiquary 21 Year Old" offers a smooth malt, notes of bitter orange, and a full-bodied profile with heather and honey.
Matured in Port Casks Blended Scotch Whisky
Nose: Camphor, hessian, cut hay, burning heather, dark mocha, saffron and vanilla
Palate: Spiced plum, wild strawberries, dark chocolate, charred game and orange
Finish: Sea salt and red fruits
